It features a 300ppi high-resolution for “laser-quality text and graphics” and double the storage, 16 GB (up from 8 GB), which should be sufficient for most people. The new Kindle also has a backlight, but it doesn’t have some of the more advanced backlight features in the Kindle Paperwhite, and is not water-resistant.Further upgrades include a battery life of up to six weeks per charge and the adjustable front light has made its return. The new Kindle costs $99.99, only a $10 bump from the previous generation. You can already pre-order it here, and it will be released on October 12, 2022.Disclosure: Miles to Memories has partnered with CardRatings for our coverage of credit card products.
