The park received the Ellis and Associates’ Platinum International Safety Award for high quality in lifeguard professionalism and operational standards in 2022.“All of our lifeguards go through extensive training and licensures to ensure that our guests will be well taken care of at all times,” Operations Manager Lauren Lowery said in a release.Splash Country will hold its 13th annual Water Safety Day June 22. Families with kids of all ages are invited for swimming and water safety lessons.More helpful informationAll attractions will close when weather radar indicates cloud-to-ground or cloud-to-cloud lightning within a 10-mile radius. Attractions will re-open when lightning has cleared for 15 minutes.Rain Check tickets are distributed at any ticket window if severe weather shortens your visit. They are valid until the end of the season.Towels are not provided at the park but can be purchased onsite.Only swimsuits are allowed at water attractions.
